Currently, we have five different venues: Scarborough, Joondalup, Forrestfield, and
Mandurah with Hillary's Marina-coming soon (opening late 2018). We have a huge
variety on our menu with consistency across all venues. We have been featured as
having the best burgers in Perth and we have the best all-day breakfast. We also have
salads, steak, chicken party, desserts, local and international craft and draught beers
bottled and on tap, Wine, Sangria, cocktails, cold pressed juices & mocktails, Smoothies
& Shakes and even fresh coconut. You'll feel like you've escaped to a hidden oasis
when you step into your very own The Local Shack store.

We have expertly trained Baristas on hand for an espresso hit along with delectable
homemade sweets perfect for that afternoon pick-me-up & our exclusive Shack blend
coffee is internationally sourced and locally roasted.

We have memorable childhood games on each table, such as Guess Who, Jenga,
Chess, Connect Four and After Eight games – to bring back quality time with families.

The Local Shack supports local and fresh produce with majority of our ingredients
sourced locally.

Our businesses are extremely profitable, and this store is currently company owned and
ready for a franchise owner to take over and jump right in and continue our success. Our
stores have a very unique design and really stand out from our competition and we have
a strong and diverse customer base that enjoy our fun and friendly family atmosphere
and all-day dining.

crucial. Whilst previous food and retail industry experience is not seen as essential.
What is essential is a commitment to devoting your time and attention to your business
especially in the first 12 months.

Marketing Support

The Local Shack is dedicated to getting their brand name known throughout Australia &
will carry out online marketing via paid adverts, Social Media, Instagram etc. However,
the best marketing tool is customer appreciation of our products and the service they
experience. Serving great food and a great experience is something customers will want
to come back to. We also locate ourselves in Prime locations and sometimes even high
traffic tourist locations, and this is the best marketing to be seen in popular and busy
areas by our customers.

Training Provided

As a franchisee, you will be fully trained by the experienced management team at The
Local Shack. Initial training is provided at Head Office and in-store and ongoing training
is delivered in a number of ways to support you and your team as you build your store.

You will never be on your own, The Local Shack is committed to its franchisees with
ongoing support, great systems and continual development and promotional
encouragement of their franchisees and staff.

Royalties

7% of gross.

Marketing Fees

4% of gross.

The Local Shack Philosophy- The Local Shack uses a uniform process to ensure
consistency, quality, cleanliness and value. This philosophy has evolved with the growth
of the very first Local Shack in 2010.
